In order to attract and retain qualified employees, you need to be able to compensate them appropriately. And if credit unions offer similar compensation programs, prospective employees are more likely to see room for career movement and growth. The compensation program offered through PDS may be implemented in conjunction with behavioural competencies, or may be implemented on its own. The program is flexible enough to allow credit unions of all sizes to pick and choose the features that will best fit with their business objectives. The compensation program includes a base salary component, a variable pay component and an indirect compensation component.
