Debbie provides overall leadership and strategic direction
to the development, delivery and ongoing evaluation of consulting,
retail and supply products and services to meet the operational
needs of the Saskatchewan credit union system and SaskCentral.
Debbie has over 20 years experience in
the Saskatchewan credit union system. Prior to her current
role, she was executive manager to SaskCentral’s CEO
where she provided leadership in interpreting the corporate
strategies to effectively build organizational understanding
and operational directives.
Debbie represents the Saskatchewan credit
union system on the national CUSOURCE Advisory Council,
and both the Alberta and Saskatchewan systems as vice-chair
of the National Financial Co-operative Employee Benefits
Plan Committee. She is also a board member of Credit Union
Electronic Transaction Services (CUETS) and Ethical Funds
Company. Supporting SaskCentral’s ongoing commitment
to corporate citizenship and community involvement, Debbie
is a member of the Employer Advisory Board of the Regina
Adult Learning Centre, and first vice-president of the Board
of Family Service Regina.
Debbie holds the Certified Human Resource
Professional (CHRP) designation, and has completed numerous
courses in executive leadership, human resource management,
and administration.
