Lyle leads a team of professionals responsible
for providing lending and deposit support to credit unions.
Lyle started in the financial services
industry in 1976 and over the years has become well known
by his peers in the industry. He joined SaskCentral in 1983
bringing a strong lending background. Over the years, Lyle
has been responsible for leading the Central Credit Committee
function, facilitating lending related training courses
and co-facilitating legislative compliance and operational
support. Lyle has been in various management roles over
the years and in 2002 took over the additional responsibility
for the deposit side of business. In 2006, he also became
responsible for the management of the Innovation and Development
team within MarketSolutions.
Lyle has been a member of the Credit Union
National Lenders Advisory Committee for the past 10 years
and also sits on the newly established Credit Union National
Agricultural Sub Committee. On a provincial basis, he is
also a member of the Saskatchewan Government Farm Leaders
Advisory Group (FLAG) where he represents the interests
of Saskatchewan credit unions.
Lyle received his Bachelor of Administration
degree from the University of Regina in 1976. He completed
the Queen’s Leadership program from the Queen’s
Business school in 2002 and has completed numerous marketing,
sales and management leadership courses.
