Steven is the leader of the SaskCentral client relations team who ensure that the MarketSolutions business lines are appropriately represented across the Canadian credit union system. His team is also responsible for elevating the strategic interests and concerns of Saskatchewan credit unions as they relate to SaskCentrals’ strategic partners.  Steven is responsible for the innovation and development activities of MarketSolutions through which business solutions are regularly evaluated for enhancement opportunities and identification and development of new business solutions.  Through his leadership, the Aboriginal Strategy for SaskCentral has been redefined with resources focused on building and enhancing business relationships with 1st Nation communities and businesses in the province of Saskatchewan for the benefit of the credit union system.

Steven’s career has spanned 30 years with the credit union system, during which he has been involved in a variety of management positions in credit unions and SaskCentral. He has also owned a consulting company providing planning and project management solutions to credit unions. In addition to his credit union career Steven has maintained his connection to his rural roots. Steven is a current and founding director of a $6 million economic development project in the agricultural sector that received a 2006 Saskatchewan ABEX award in the investment category.
