Contract Management offers credit unions quality contract management services through the provision of a qualified business development manager who is focused on ensuring member needs are met and credit union objectives are achieved. The board of directors of each credit union retains the highest level of authority and esponsibility, while delegating their management resourcing needs to SaskCentral.

Through contractual arrangements, the contract management program offers management services and leadership to credit unions seeking management leadership support. The contract with the credit union is normally for a minimum of two years. The placement of the resident manager is based on local board hiring criteria. In addition to providing credit unions with skilled human resources to fulfill operational needs onsite, the contract manager draws on skilled expertise from other parts of SaskCentral to provide a complete range of targeted and contemporary solutions.

The contract management program brings a team of resources together as a network of professionals who are knowledge-driven, future-focused, and mobile. The team has the capacity to deliver beyond Saskatchewan borders. The role of the program is to provide leadership through times of change. Since the inception of the program in 1987, the contract management program has provided management services to over 68 credit unions.

Qualified managers are effectively placed to ensure their skills are matched to the credit union needs.
